Cavitation cleaning of hulls and subsea structures
Marine fouling removed by a cavitating water jet — no abrasive, no damage to the paint coating. For repair, survey and to reduce a vessel's hull resistance.

Cavitation cleaning removes biofouling, silt and deposits through the collapse of micro-bubbles in a water jet close to the surface. The energy of these micro-implosions tears the growth away without harming the paint coating or the steel — unlike grit blasting or aggressive mechanical scraping. The method uses no chemicals and no abrasive, so it suits work in Kola Bay without harm to the environment.
Hull fouling increases resistance and fuel consumption, obscures the surface during survey and traps moisture under the crust. Cavitation cleaning lifts the growth off the coating, restores a smooth hull and cuts its resistance; ahead of repair, welding or survey it prepares a clean surface for inspection and painting. The work is done by divers with a cavitation unit, and every stage is recorded on photo and video.
We clean the underwater hull of vessels, propellers, quays and piers, piles, water intake structures and pipelines. We work in Murmansk and Kola Bay all year round — including through the polar night, in hot-water suits.
