Underwater construction of marine structures
We prepare the bed, control pile driving and cut piles, install floating piers and water intake heads in the Port of Murmansk and Kola Bay — at depths to 60 metres.

A marine structure stands on its underwater part, yet that part cannot be inspected from the shore and is hard to put right once the work is handed over. Underwater operations therefore call for a dedicated team, control at every stage and a documented result.
Piles for a quay are driven from the shore by piling rigs — PKF Bolid divers prepare the bed for the foundation, control the position of the piles as they are driven, cut them underwater to the design level, seal the joints and prepare the surfaces for concreting. Some structures we build ourselves: we assemble and set floating piers, install water intake heads and pipelines. We use Kirby Morgan helmets and band masks, NEMO cordless tools, hydraulic tools with the HYCON power pack, underwater welding and cutting equipment, the moon pool and umbilicals. The RB-550 ROV and sonar confirm that the structures sit exactly as designed.
We work at facilities of ports, water utilities, ship repair yards and oil and gas companies across the Murmansk Region; other regions by arrangement. Hot-water suits allow installation work in the cold water of the Barents and White Seas all year round, including through the polar night. The company has been in commercial diving since 1992.
